WHO WE ARE
Outscope Ltd is a Bath, UK based company that works hand-in-hand with our production subsidiary Outscope (Pvt) Ltd, in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This arrangement enables our clients to work directly with another UK company but also benefit from the much lower cost base that prevails in Sri Lanka.
Outscope's foundation
The co-founders and directors of Outscope, Gavin Gillham and Robert Redman, were also colleagues in their previous employment where they both gained extensive experience in management and developing outsourced web development business processes.
Outscope was born out of a recognition that the outsourcing revolution has just started to gather momentum and that we have only scratched the surface in terms of the creative opportunities for enabling smaller Western companies to get in on the action.
The founders started in partnership from April 2004 and founded and incorporated Outscope as a limited company from July 2004.
As the simplicity of the idea upon which Outscope was founded became disseminated, the client base very quickly expanded, forcing Outscope (Sri Lanka) to expand to a larger office space in central Colombo and recruit a greater number of talented web production staff.
Outscope's philosophy
The company was founded on the firm belief that, given clear working processes, an individual's best work is not necessarily done at a specific time or in a specific place and we feel that the continuing development and growth of our company demonstrates the truth of this conviction.
